"Cracklins" or "Gratton" in Cajun french, is pork belly deep fried in hog lard. It is a special known treat in South Louisiana.
The three tasty layers: Crispy top skin, Juicy fat, and Tender meat is what makes it a true Cracklin. It is seasoned nicely with our own all purpose seasoning. It makes for a great snack or a finger food at parties.
Storing Cracklins: If you keep Cracklins in a closed container, such as a jar, ziploc bag, or tupperware, they can stay fresh for up to 3 weeks.
Reheating Cracklins: To make them taste fresh again, you can put them on a cookie sheet and reheat them in your oven, set it on warm or a low heat for 3 mins. We do not recommend reheating them in a microwave, they will shrivel up and get too hard to eat.

I grew up in Opelousas and was home for the holidays. My brother took me to Don's and everything was so good. I just loved Don's boudin, cracklin & pies!
I'd been craving some home cooking so I placed an order on-line. I ordered some boudin, pies, and cracklin.
Unfortunately, I only ordered a 1/2 pound of cracklin as I didn't know how it would keep but to my amazement it was sealed fresh! It's by far the best cracklin!
The boudin was shipped frozen and was still frozen when arrived. It is SO GOOD!!!
And the pies, well, just like the cracklin, didn't last long as I could not stop eating them!

I grew up in Bunkie, eating MJ Juneau's cracklins. I love cracklins. My Significant Other had never had a cracklin, so when I saw I could order some online, I thought I'd give it a shot.
I ordered from Don's and another Scott place. The other place was good, I enjoyed them, but Don's got it 100% right. Per their description of the three layers yes. I couldn't even be bothered to heat them up. The juicy fat layer literally melted in my mouth like butter. The skin crispy made my eyes roll in satisfaction. The meaty portion made me moan in delight. My Patrick is now a cracklin lover. He wants to know when we're ordering again.
Don's beats MJ's and any other cracklin I have ever had. Maybe next time I'll manage to heat them up. But it is saying something when a cracklin is two days old and cold and makes your toes curl in delight.

I ordered these for my mother who is in a nursing home. They were quite pricey but it is something she has been craving. Unfortunately, they were so spicy that she cannot eat them. No where on the website does it state they are spicy. I reached out via Facebook messenger and the response I received was I could call the store and order with out seasoning. That was quite disappointing as I really don’t want to spend another $40 . Maybe you could update your website to reflect they are spicy and add choice of seasoning .

3 lb of cracklins supposed to go to various members of my family.....hmmm, nah,my daughter and I ate them all! Sooooo good! Saving the boudin...MAYBE family will get some!

some really hard spots sometimes ruin the chew, not a lot of flavor past the bacon flavor which is a bit weak in some pieces
