Boudin 4 Links
Dont want a 5lb box? Our 4 Link Pack may be perfect for you if you do not want a large amount at one time. This is also a good size package to sample if you never tried our homemade Boudin before. We promise that you may want more after one bite!
Fill a pot of water and bring it to a hard boil. Put boudin into the pot. Once it comes back to a boil, which takes about 5-8 mins check the boudin casing for tenderness.
Microwave in a damp paper towel for 1.5 minutes per link.
Steam for 3-5mins per link.
Or put it on the grill for a smokey flavor!

Did not like the Boudins
Posted by Jo Thibodeaux on 6th Jul 2020
The boudins had way too much meat, not enough rice. The taste wasn’t the authentic boudin taste. They were blane. Only taste was pepper and too salty. The meat wasn’t grounded fine enough. The meat had large chunks. Cannot eat the boudins, will have to throw away. I wasted my money on those things. They are bad, terrible and pitiful that let them go out like that. At one time, years ago I was there in person, the boudins were pretty good. I had the boudins shipped this time. But, it seems they are cutting corners now. Poor quality!
Just Like being there!

I have tried many stores for boudin. Don's is by far the best. Employers are nice and courteous.
Best Boudin in Texas

So I grew up in Louisiana but have lived in Houston for 40 years. Over this time period I have tried to find equal boudin locally, but stopped looking twenty years ago. It just does not exist here. So, off I went to Lafayette periodically to stock up on the best in Louisiana and Texas. I love the fact that they ship now, I have sent boudin all over the country to family that love it. Also, love the five link version they have now, makes it easier to store and serve to smaller groups. The specialty meats are the great to, my favorites are deboned chickens, stuffed pork chops, and stuffed catfish. I always have enough of all these handy in the fall and always make a special La meal to watch my beloved LSU Tigers. Thank You Don's, love you guys. Geaux Tigers!

Very good. Taste like the way our family makes them back in the good ole days

Boudin has changed some but didn't disappoint as the Cracklins did.

It has been over 30 years since I had boudin and I was so excited to get it and was not disappointed. It was as good as I remembered, heck even better. Just the right amount of heat. Very tasty

I live in the Northeast where it's extremely difficult to get boudin, Don makes a solid good link, ships it fast, and it was easy to prepare for consumption. Feels great to be able to enjoy this food again.
Let me count the ways
